Gill Walker – Founder & Managing Director
Gill Walker held senior positions in advertising agencies for over 15 years. She founded Evergreen after being inspired by completing a Master’s thesis on Ageism in Australian Advertising.
Gill was a finalist in the the Telstra Business Women awards, a board member for the Over 50′s Association. She is a regular keynote speaker at conferences and media commentator on the 50+ market.
Phil Thomas – Creative Director
With more than 25 years of marketing and advertising experience, Phil is also a qualified member of the Boomer generation.
As Creative Director, Phil guides the agency’s creative strategy and concept development by applying disciplines based on best practice for visual and verbal communications, through a deep understanding of the impact that age has on advertising.
Doug Molino – Art Director
Doug is one of the longest serving Evergreen team members and contributes significantly to the creative output of the agency.
His specialisation is DM creative, having won international awards for his design work, and Doug has broad experience with 50+ targeted clients including retirement, travel, government, aged care, finance and pharmaceuticals.
Jeremy Hayne – Studio Manager
As Studio Manager at Evergreen, Jeremy is responsible for the print, online and internal video production. His 10 years of experience in agencies and
printers studios as a Mac artist has skilled him in the techniques for efficiency and accuracy.
Combine this with his knowledge of what works visually for the 50+ market, and Jeremy has an important role to ensure the quality and punctuality of the studio output.
Alice Murray – Account Director
Alice brings 18 years of experience gained in multinational and boutique agencies, most notably in the categories of government, property and retail. Alice was the Agency lead on national brands including Stockland, VicUrban, STIHL, Guardian Pharmacies, Bendigo Bank, Pioneer, Commander, Gandel and AGFA.
Alice’s advertising career began in South Australia working on The Advertiser/Sunday Mail, Woolworths, SA Ambulance and the University of South Australia. Alice’s passion for the written word is evidenced in the strategies and campaigns she helps deliver.
Torie Hooper – Media Director, Media Strategist
Torie heads up the Evergreen media team. Her experience is extensive across travel, government, healthcare aged care and retirement living. Prior to joining Evergreen, Torie was a senior media planner at Pulicis MOJO and lectured the media program for AFA Ad School.
With the 50+ audience one size does not fit all and it’s much more about understanding the nuances by life-stage and life-events as well as demographics.
Laura Mathews – Media Planner Buyer
Laura has a passion for media, and is completing a Masters of Communications (Advertising).
She is especially interested in digital and manages the integration of SEM campaigns with other media channels used for clients campaigns.
Dina Ross - PR Director
Dina is truly a PR specialist, editor, journalist, author and broadcaster. Her book ‘Surviving the Media Jungle’ is the bible to making PR really work for a company and how PR works best when part of an integrated communications offering. With experience in health and fitness, law, government relations, crisis communications, oil and pharmaceutical industries, arts marketing, food and drink, FMCG, real estate, antiques – to name a few – her experience is vast.
Dina is a regular speaker on communications, media and crisis management and has a special interest in media and presentation skills training. She looks forward to using her BBC broadcasting skills to help Evergreen clients improve their media presence.
Dina contributes articles on marketing and PR to Leaders in Heels online magazine.
